Build To Rent | Union Wharf, Greenwich
How we designed and brought to life a truly unique BTR scheme aimed at the multifamily.
BTR is becoming more competitive than ever. The number of completed build to rent homes increased by 23% from 43,598 in Q4 to 53,750 in Q4 2020.
Union Wharf is a brand new BTR development situated in Greenwich, London. The scheme was split between two towers, both featuring 1-4 bedroom apartments designed towards both the young, working professionals and the growing family market.
We were appointed to design the amenity spaces (indoor and outdoor areas) and the reception areas, as well as 249 apartments. This was our first BTR project aimed at the multifamily, so we knew we needed bespoke pieces for this development.
We designed each premium, contemporary apartment to feel homely for its residents, drawing on inspiration from the natural surroundings. The interior featured touches of either deep navy blue or emerald green and was paired with bespoke cushions and tailored artworks throughout.
We made sure to keep the finish natural, including wool rugs and walnut and marble tabletops, encapsulating the warmth of a true family apartment.
We were heavily involved in the development of this project, from initial briefing to execution, and our high-quality designs brought to life a truly iconic building.
